Queer Bar Branding
The Velvet Pony
Visual Brand Identity & Merchandising
In a southern city with limited spaces for LGBTQ+ folk, owner Cat Forrester created The Velvet Pony: an inclusive bar concept designed to bridge generational divides and encourage community building. This original branding project included a custom wordmark, logos, illustrations, merch designs, foundational brand language, promotional materials, and more.
Releaf Tree Canopy Initiative
City of Charleston
Visual Brand Identity
The City of Charleston approached me for branding for its ReLeaf Tree Canopy Initiative, a citywide project to plant 5,000 trees in the next 5 years. In a city accustomed to long, sweltering summers, the canopy will provide much-needed shade, reduced temperatures, and floodwater relief. This original logomark takes a bird’s eye view of Charleston, revealing an oak carved out of the city’s unique rivers and marshlands.
